Iain MacFadyen Memorial Gala

Considering it is very early in the training cycle having just come off the summer holiday break the times posted by the swimmers representing the team at this gala is way ahead of schedule.

For those of you who did not post personal bests don’t panic! we know where improvements are needed and these will be looked at in training.

Congratulations to Elliot Furniss who for two of his swims actually took the club records for his age group in the 100 IM and 50 breaststroke. Elliot also gained 4 silver medals and a bronze for his swims.

The key elements to getting personal bests is hard training following the carefully constructed sets laid out at each of your training sessions and just as important is listening to us on areas in your swims which can be improved.

It is staggering the improvements being made already however we shall not be letting up so be prepared for some hard sessions to ensure that your swim times are constantly improving.

Thats all for just now so well done!!

Colin
