As there were too many swims to highlight I felt it was only fair to cover each swimmer individually. Natalia produced a great time on her favorite stroke lol 100 BREAST and finished first in the heat and the final . She also finished first in her 200 IM. Her only comment was please don’t make me do breastroke again. As usual Natalia showed how good a swimmer she is and she has a great competitive attitude. Emma had two outstanding swims and she will definitely break the 1.15 barrier on her free. Emma’s least favorite stroke is breaststroke however there are signs of improvement Emma so well done. Emma knows her first 50 of 100 on free is a blast from the blocks so we will cover that in training.Ruby broke the club record on her 100 free posting a brilliant time of 1.16 and followed up with a great 100 back. So pleased for her as she has been gunning for this record for a while. Ruby has enormous talent and it’s starting to show in her times Aimee it’s so pleasing to see Aimee progressing and posting two personal bests. Aimee has been working very hard in training and it’s now starting a journey of continuous personal bests . She is a late developer at the swimming but this gala will give her enormous confidence and if she keeps on at the hard work she will continue to bring her times dow by huge chunks I am sure of that So keep up the hard work and well done. Kara swam some good swims as usual and she never stops trying her very best and is a joy to train as she takes in what is required and I feel sure more personal bests are to come. Hamish swam very well and smashed his 100 free to a brilliant 1.18 it was looking good in training however I did not think he could smash his time by such a solid amount. He always comes out with a smile and it was a big grin after that swim for sure. Ruaridh had three s wins and made the final in all three which was shear class. I think after the last final swim he could not have swam another length and no wonder. The massive improvement is down to how hard he trains and he puts in an emormous amount of effort again starting to smash his personal bests.
If I have missed anyone out please forgive me however there were so many great swims it was difficult to piece this report together . Suffice to say that we are definitely heading in the right direction due to hard work and dedication. The message clearly is keep training hard and you will get your times down which is what it is all about.
